Sretan Božić
Dok snijeg pada gust i bijel,
saonice su pune darova.
Sobovi su malo uzbuđeni;
cijelu godinu su čekali na ovo putovanje.
Na nebo sobovi uzlijeću;
do svakog dječjeg doma idu ravno
ove čarobne noći.
Cijeli svijet izgleda u harmoniji
dok saonice lete pune energije.
Večeras je Badnjak,
krajolik je snježno bijel.
Podijeliti sve poklone za Božić
zahtjevan je posao.
Djed Božićnjak je pročitao sva dječja pisma
i mora paziti da ne pomiješa spomenute poklone.
Svako dijete treba ostati veselo;
Djed Božićnjak je vrlo oprezan.
Ove noći mora ići tako daleko,
dok među zvijezdama Betlehemska zvijezda sjaji.
Djeco današnjice,
djeco jučerašnjice,
želim vam sretan Božić!
Merry Christmas
As the snow falls thick and white,
the sleigh is full of gifts.
The reindeer are a little excited;
all year round
for this trip they have waited.
In the sky,
the reindeer are taking flight;
to every child’s home
they go straight
on this magic night.
The whole world seems in harmony
while the sleigh is flying full of energy.
It's Christmas Eve tonight,
the landscape is snowy white.
It is a demanding business
to deliver all the gifts for Christmas.
Santa Claus has read
all the children's letters
and must pay attention
not to mix up the gifts mentioned.
Every child should remain cheerful;
Santa Claus is very careful.
This night he must go so far,
while among the stars
the Star of Bethlehem shines.
Children of today, children of yesterday,
I wish you a Merry Christmas Day!
