Con Voicing Diversity faremo il giro del mondo in poesia, viaggiando dal Giappone agli Stati Uniti. Siete pronti?
Rucksack ( rucksack in tedesco vuol dire zaino) è un’opera artistico- poetica creata da Antje Stehn con bustine di tè e poesie inviate da poeti di tutto il pianeta accomunati da un’unica grande volontà, quella di condividere un grande abbraccio poetico civile. Inaugurata quattro mesi fa al Piccolo Museo della Poesia Chiesa San Cristoforo di Piacenza (e tuttora ivi esposta), in questo periodo di forzato isolamento ha fatto il giro del mondo, grazie a poeti provenienti da 58 paesi diversi ed altrettante lingue, dando respiro al nostro bisogno di condividere arte, poesia e impegno civile. Attraverso le voci dei poeti ( tra loro alcuni davvero famosi, candidati al Nobel, altri meno esposti mediaticamente), si snoda un incredibile percorso, dalla fredda Islanda alle Ande passando attraverso la savana africana. Il filo rosso è costituito dalle foglie di té e da tutte le relazioni a livello culturale, storico, geografico che questo rituale ha creato nei secoli tra i mondi.
Unitevi a noi, a questa splendida carovana di poeti!Sarà come camminare insieme. Zaino in spalla, si parte!

Dear Prof. Sabrina De Canio thank you for your translation of my poetry on Italian. I am so happy I will participate at this poetry reading.
We are looking forward to the Finissage of the Rucksack next Saturday 23.1.2021 at 5pm Italian Time (UTC +1) The meeting should not last much longer than one hour.
We will read our poems in our mother language and English and Sabrina will read the Italian translation .

“Voicing Diversity” will take us on a world poetry trip, from Japan to the United States. Are you ready?
Rucksack (rucksack in German means backpack) is an art-poetry work created by Antje Stehn with tea bags and poems sent by poets from all over the planet united by the single great desire to share a great civil poetic embrace. Inaugurated four months ago at the Piccolo Museo della Poesia Chiesa San Cristoforo in Piacenza (and still exhibited there), in this period of forced isolation it has travelled the world, thanks to poets from 58 different countries and as many languages, giving breath to our need to share art, poetry and civil commitment. Through the voices of poets (among whom well-know leading poets, Nobel candidates, others less exposed to the media), we unfold an incredible journey, from cold Iceland to the Andes passing through the African savannah. The red thread is made up of tea leaves and the cultural, historical and geographical relationships that this ritual has created over the centuries between the worlds.
Join us in this splendid caravan of poets! It will be like walking together. Backpack on your shoulder, off we go!
The event is curated by Sabrina De Canio (Italy), Antje Stehn (Germany) and Mamta Sagar (India) with the patronage of the Municipality of Gossolengo (Piacenza-Italy).
